VISER, a manufacturer specializing in advanced heat exchanger systems and thermal management solutions, successfully concluded its participation in 'HVAC KOREA 2026' (Korea HVAC Exhibition), held at COEX in Seoul from May 13 to 15. At this premier domestic exhibition for mechanical equipment—which brings together companies and buyers from the HVAC and energy systems sectors—VISER showcased its high-efficiency plate heat exchangers designed for free cooling, specifically targeting the data center cooling market.

The 'LMTD 1°C' technology at the heart of the exhibition

The highlight of Visor’s exhibition is its high-efficiency plate heat exchanger technology, which achieves a Logarithmic Mean Temperature Difference (LMTD) of 1°C. Unlike standard products that typically operate at an LMTD of 2–3°C or higher, Visor’s product demonstrated stable performance at a measured LMTD of 0.93°C during witnessed tests by a certified agency. This performance is realized through ultra-precision heat transfer plate forming technology and in-house capabilities for developing and manufacturing EPDM gaskets, ensuring leak-free durability even under high-pressure conditions of 28 bar.

The LMTD 1°C technology excels in free-cooling systems that utilize natural cold sources such as hydrothermal, geothermal, and seawater. In large-scale facilities like data centers, it extends the annual duration of free-cooling operations—thereby reducing chiller usage rates by 40–50%—and lowers the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by reducing the number of heat exchanger plates and the required installation footprint compared to conventional systems. The product has been designated as an "Innovative Prototype" by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Visor has demonstrated its world-class design capabilities by becoming the first Korean company to simultaneously obtain AHRI (Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) LLHE certification for five models.

Based on visitor registration, representatives from approximately 170 companies and organizations across six different fields visited the booth to discuss products and make technical inquiries.

The high proportion of visitors from sectors such as data center and building facility operations, as well as design and R&D, indicates that market interest in high-efficiency cooling solutions is transitioning into actual demand alongside the proliferation of AI data centers. The broad distribution of visitors—spanning construction companies, equipment and materials suppliers, and the public sector—further demonstrates that the application scope of plate heat exchangers is expanding across the entire industry.

Next Stop: Dubai — Targeting the Middle East Market in November

Building on the success of this exhibition, Visor plans to participate in "The Big 5 Global" (scheduled for November 23–26)—a major trade show for the building and construction industry held in Dubai, UAE—to launch a concerted effort to penetrate the Middle East market. As the Middle East is a region experiencing rapid growth in data center investment, Visor intends to expand its export markets in phases, starting with the Middle East and Central Asia before moving into Europe and North America.
